Speaking at the UN Security Council on 19 October, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of UNSOH Daniela Kroslak thanked the Standing Group of Partners, particularly the United States, for their close cooperation on the deployment of the Gang Suppression Force. She also thanked Belgium and Germany for their contributions to strategic airlift operations and the Dominican Republic for its critical support in facilitating these deployments. She noted that, as the Force expands, UNSOH continues to adapt its infrastructure and logistics so that incoming personnel can become operational as quickly as possible.

The Security Council extends the mandates of the Gang Suppression Force and UNSOH for six months, until 31 March 2027.
UNSOH's aviation capacity supports the movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies across Haiti, including to Gonaïves.
Since the adoption of resolution 2793 (2025), UNSOH has moved from establishment to operational support for the GSF and BINUH.
