On 29 January 2020, Zahir Tanin, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, met Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, the new Head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), at UNMIK Headquarters.
SRSG Tanin and Ambassador Wigemark discussed the importance of close partnership and cooperation between UNMIK and EULEX to support synergy and complementarity between the two organizations, particularly in the area of the rule of law.
