27 March 2018. Monrovia: Traditional Liberian communicators welcomes the arrival of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIL, Farid Zarif, during the popular farewell for the peacekeeping mission in the streets of Monrovia, Liberia. All these traditional communicators, members of eleven cultural organisations, have been hired by the Public Information Office in UNMIL for the past months to disseminate messages on the UNMIL termination, scheduled on March 30, and announce the United Nations, through the UN agencies, will continue to support the country on the access towards sustainable peace, education, healthcare, food security, humanitarian and development assistance.Photo by Albert Gonzalez Farran - UNMIL
